Rooted in a fascination with folk art and medieval history, Venetia combines traditional materials and techniques with a contemporary approach to depicting flora and fauna. Using medieval processes such as egg tempera, raised gilding, and often incorporating reclaimed historical materials, she aims to create richly layered historical pieces.
