Details: This work stands as a lighthouse of feeling. Framed in ship worn timber recovered from the Hoo peninsula, the central vertical tower rises like a watch tower - layered with faded 15th century script and crowned with a 17th century bronze button. A lantern of memory.

On the inner of the frame the Latin inscription reads: “ars scribendi est ars reperendi quid sentias” (the art of writing is the art of discovering what you feel). 

This piece becomes a beacon: guiding emotions through erosion, casting light on the interior sea, it is a vessel of centuries, a reliquary of thought and a tower build from wreckage and revelation.
