Details: Framed in 17th Century Oak floor board timbers once trodden by generations, this assemblage holds eight ceramic fragments recovered from English rivers and streams, each dating between the 17th and 18th centuries. Their surfaces bear floral traces, erosion and glaze ghosts, speaking to times slow abrasion and the persistence of form.

The work is a devotional act: a binding of domestic ruin and river memory. The oak once part of floor now cradles what the floor could not forget. Each shard of pottery is a witness - silent, textured and enduring.
